David Francis

David Francis has been involved in energy efficiency, sustainability and solar energy in a variety of roles for the last 10 years. He is currently employed with Infratec Ltd, specialising in solar development projects in the large commercial and industrial space.

He graduated from the University of Auckland Engineering School with an Honours degree in Chemical and Materials Engineering and holds a Post Graduate diploma in Geothermal Energy Technology.

David has held various project management, business development and process design roles throughout the last 30 years, both within New Zealand and internationally.

This presentation will discuss the state of New Zealand’s solar PV industry in the context of commercial and industrial facilities and will work through a real-world example of a solar project and commercial model.
