James Martin

James Martin is the founder of Pulse Energy and has brought a total of four new energy retailers to market as tier 1 traders in New Zealand over the past 18 years.

He has a passion for renewable energy and the environment and holds patents in both smart metering and smart grids. In addition to serving as director on both publicly listed and private company boards, he has acted in the capacity of advisor to Pacific Island nations and the State Government of Victoria.

More recently, James has been consulting on business development to a central North Island lines company, establishing software and systems for an energy bureau service focused on new property and housing developments which currently track thousands of new projects nationwide, as well as launching his latest electricity trading company PowerEdge and Renewable Energy Investment Fund as partner in Martin Po Ching Capital.
