John Martin
Panelist: John Martin is senior security architect and security practice leader for IBM NZ. He is an IBM Expert level certified architect and Open Group Master Architect.
He has over 30 years’ experience in the various security and privacy fields including healthcare and privacy related environments. He worked extensively overseas for 20 years with the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office before joining the commercial world with Marconi SecurTrust as principal security consultant.
He is a former board member of Netsafe, a member of the New Zealand Internet Task Force (NZITF) and president of the Auckland Chapter for ISC2. John holds a BA and MSc, in addition to the following certifications: CISM, CISSP-ISSAP, MBCS CITP, MIITP, CITPNZ, SNSCP.
