Nicole Rosie is the Chief Executive of WorkSafe New Zealand. As Chief Executive, Nicole is responsible for both the strategic direction and day-to-day operations.

Nicole believes transforming New Zealand’s health and safety performance is critical to reducing harm to our people and to sustaining and accelerating New Zealand’s economic success.

Nicole has enjoyed a varied career spanning 15 years executive experience in large New Zealand businesses including KiwiRail, Toll, Fletcher Forest and ACC. Her most recent role was as Health and Safety, FarmSource (major transformation project) and Head of Risk at Fonterra. In these roles, she built and led improvements in business performance through a focus on leadership, care for people and systematic improvement in health and safety systems, culture and outcomes.

Nicole’s desire is to deliver outcomes through influence rather than hierarchy and being an authentic leader is the key to her success.

Nicole is a passionate New Zealander who cares deeply about people. In her personal life, Nicole keeps herself busy jointly raising her 4 children aged between 8 and 13.
