Monique Surges - Chief Executive Officer at German-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce

Monique Surges is the officially recognised German Trade Representative in New Zealand and holds the title of Chief Executive Officer for the German-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce. Since its foundation in 1983 the GNZCC has become an important partner in fostering bilateral trade between Germany and New Zealand, with the main objectives being to advise companies in market development and to support them in the initiation of business relations. Monique has also been a member of the supervisory board for BayWA AG since 2015 and is the treasurer of the New Zealand Europe Business Council, an umbrella organisation for all European business associations and councils in New Zealand.
