Gary Walker

Gary Walker

EECA Business Account Director Gary Walker helps drive efficiency by working with a team of account managers who focus effort on the biggest companies in New Zealand, to achieve the greatest energy and carbon savings they can.

One of the key objectives of EECA Business is to ensure senior managers and executives of these companies are aware of how energy efficiency relates to the strategic objectives of their business and what the benefits are. They then work to improve their planning and operational capacity to achieve these goals.

Businesses (excluding transport) account for about 50% of New Zealand’s total energy use, and more than 40% of our energy-related carbon emissions.

EECA Business helps companies improve their energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions while increasing productivity and reducing business costs. This is accomplished through knowledge-sharing, following best practice, use of technology and improved visibility to help drive efficiency, eliminate the unnecessary and substitute fuels for lower carbon.

Gary’s is a leader and communicator with a breadth of experience in management, marketing, sales and projects to motivate, coach and support others.
