The xGateway Device also includes a POWERBRICK-LITE low voltage UPS with an internal battery that can power itself for 12-24* hours during a power outages. POWERBRICK is a home or business, ultra-fast broadband (UFB) connected alarm system that incorporates a battery backed-up, uninterruptable power supply (UPS) for broadband network equipment. POWERBRICK ensures alarm, phone and internet communications during power outages. POWERBRICK also provides automatic line stabilisation and re-booting of network access equipment in the event of network disconnection to ensure a reliable network connection. Designed for homes and businesses POWERBRICK delivers: - UPS for the ONT (Optical Network Terminal) and broadband router (RGW)supplied and installed by the Local Fiber Company (Chorus/Enable/UltraFast/NorthPower/NBNco) and your internet service provider. - UPS for other devices such as an Ethernet switch, or emergency lighting (additional batteries may be required). - Made in New Zealand
