Dominic Lauten

Dominic is the founder and director of Caspiral Engineering Advisors; a company specialising in design, specification, and turnkey building technology solutions including the delivery of fully integrated system and business outcomes.
Prior to founding Caspiral Engineering Advisors, Dominic’s experience included working for multinational design consulting firms, construction sector sub-contractors, and a system integrator specialising in industrial and process applications. His professional project experience includes data centres, hospitals, hotels, museums, tertiary education, and commercial and residential developments.
Dominic now provides his diverse skills and experience to delivering technology outcomes through direct engagement, as a sub-consultant, or as a sub-contractor.

Procuring technology and innovation

Dominic will provide some insights on applying traditional procurement models to technology required for building projects, the challenges of this approach, and presenting an alternative model for procuring technology outcomes for buildings.

The session will include discussions on managing technology; procurement risk, value and quality, and outcome delivery.

Practical examples will be provided based on Dominic’s experience working across multiple industry sectors and for clients with varied business goals.
